John Fogerty is one of the best musicians stateside.......and CCR was one of the greatest bands ever.

This song flatlined on radio charts in it's day..never could figure out why. One of John's best post-CCR singles.

I attended a CCR concert in Belgium, I must have been 15 or 16 years old. Eternal memory.

I saw Fogerty for the "Blue Moon Swamp" tour...best show I think I ever saw!!!! How ever, since then every time I've seen him it's like he rushes just to get through and off the stage. Like he does in this video.

Always liked this song and Status Quo's version. Both kick. Can't wait for Fogerty's new CD in the fall

It´s from the Wiltern Session in 05. Was broadcasted in Germany on Dec. 31st 2006 on 3sat. "pop around the clock" - - - 6 to 6 - - - - various concerts every silvester If U have cable or satellite tv search for 3 sat Germany + have fun.

John Fogerty Are Best Ever

What I love is that the magnificent Mr. Fogerty actually could have written this for Status Quo. It has a Quo feel, but John's voice is inimitable. I kind of love John Fogerty more, but I also love the Quo. It's all champagne and chocolate for me.

Both versions rock. Always knew that this wasn't a Quo original but each singer/group put their own stamp on it and the Quo did just that. The audience (including me) go wild when Andy plays the opening bars

Covers are not always better that the originals but Quo took this song to another level.

@MrShotokan4 I like plenty of the pop people you just mentioned and Classic stuff. And punk. It's how well you do the thing you're trying to do. Not what people wish you were doing. Try and remember, many hardcore Stones fans and 4 Seasons Fans thought The Beatles were wimpy.

Just heard this version today (up til now thought it was a quo song 80's), and i like it better than Quo's cover. Fogerty wins hands down.

I'm a fan of CCR and JF but Quo's version is just...better.
