The investigation, arrest and conviction of Gambino crime family boss John Gotti (aka The Teflon Don). Unravel the mystery alongside the FBI's greatest law enforcers and forensic scientists.
#TheFBIFiles #TrueCrime #JohnGotti
Season 1 Episode 13: By December 1985, John Gotti (aka the Teflon Don) had assumed his place as the new Don of the Gambino crime family in New York with the assassination of his boss, Paul Castellano. When the FBI convinced Gotti's underboss, Salvatore Gravano, to testify against him, the jury came back with their verdict: guilty on all counts.
The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.

@@sammyandoliver7522 government workers usually are sovereign citizens. There’s a cop in my town. That has a 6yr old registration. He drives to work daily in that vehicle. Well yes, many crimes such as robbery (taxation) and murder (capital punishment) is legal when the government does it. Many cults that end up challenging the governments gets disbanded quickly. The government has a monopoly over violence and they won't let any Joe Blows take t hat away.

@Snaggle Toothed As someone else had pointed out Carlo Gambino hired Roy Cohen for Gottis lawyer and he was basically 'infamous' for lack of a better word for getting mob guys amazing deals with the DA. And of course this was before they started to actually use the RICO laws. And Gotti wasn't the trigger man Ralph Galione was. At the end of the day it's human beings that are the ones "enforcing" these laws and sentences so back in the 70's when Cosa Nostra was still in its glory day times it's not that hard to believe this situation! It more than likely was happening on a weekly basis back than. It's just we all know who Gotti is and have looked into his life se we're aware of his particular case.

@@WindDancer435 I've worked in IT for about 25-years and I feel confident saying that if your PC/laptop is completely powered-off then it is NOT possible for the camera to be accessed. However.. If it is in "sleep mode" or "hibernate" then it could be possible to send a "wake-up on LAN" command from a remote source and then they could hijack your camera. Smartphones work in a similar way.. but I *have* heard rumors that gps, voice, and camera can still be accessed even when the phone is "powered-off". I'm not familiar enough with Android or iPhone O/S to say if this is true or not. If you want to be extra safe from prying eyes, just remove the battery from your phone and put masking tape over your webcam. :)

@@treborironwolfe978 If you believe your computer cannot be hacked when powered off, then you have obviously NOT seen the movie "Snowden". The only way to not be spied upon is to disconnect the power cord. I see Snowden could teach even someone like you a thing or two. I certainly learned a lot.

34:11 it always blows my mind 🤯 how they gloss over the fact that the FBI accomplished this several times. HOW? You’d think the Ravenite would have security on staff overnight or anytime it was unoccupied. That’s crazy. So the FBI just walks in with keys? How were they copied? At the Ravenite there were no alarms on when they’d leave at night? Almost all businesses have alarm systems. Cafes, restaurants, pizzerias. It’s bizarre.

It clearly just wasn’t like that. It always cracks me up when they said “the mob guys house is surrounded by armed soldiers watching the front and back 24/7.” It just wasn’t like that. They try to make what they did seem more miraculous then what I really was. It’s really simple to catch people when you can break the law. How hard is it to break into someone’s house and put a bug in it you think there’s always going to be somebody home 7 days a week 24 hours a day? It’s pretty simple
