@Marcus Felton yes what drug has most deaths and are they the worst ones that sell a drug that has highest death rate . alcohol is a drug a poison that people die from more then all drugs put together alot of drug dealers out there they at every store and alcohol is against the law in some countries . and how i see it if you go up in a area and within a family were selling dope is normal i dont think they scum but once they open there eyes and really see what they are doing but they still sell it well yes that what turns them in to scum everyone has different morals and different ways and different view points just like killing its wrong but if you usa army its ok wait a minute this was formes from killing many natives inslaving many people . and how does some of these natives feel about i bet there veiw point a little different then a white mans and u might argue they fight for freedom besides ww1 and ww2 tell me a war were they said they coming to take over America there is no such country but we the world police we tell people how they should live thats good right my pointy everything depends on how you raised but when u see your actions are hurting others and u still do it well thats scum . and if u disagree tell me but dont come back with a dumb statement please and yes i sold dope and no i refuse to sell it anymore but took many years to understand what i was doing we all not raised with same values i was raised in criminal area was raised not to talk to police and was raised buy other laws everyone different. and today i dont see no man made laws just god laws thats all i follow and dont care were it takes me cuz im at peace for once in my life not afraid of death or prison nothing but my maker and dont give a fuck what others think of me but my maker the most high he going judge the wicked and he will judge me not no other humans that do wrong too no it aint happening

1984 is about fascism, I don't see how the subjective quality of television has anything to do with 1984. Maybe if you were talking about the fascist media, but instead you're talking about the 'golden times'. Try looking into the golden age fallacy, people always exaggerate the good ol' days. Always. It's always happened. People used to call Beethoven trash, music was better in the past, etc.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER consent to have your bag, person or vehicle searched without probable cause or warrant!!! Cops will always ask to search even if they got nothing!! Politely decline and state "you would be wasting your time and mine, there is nothing illegal to find" if the cop doesn't want to violate your rights and has no legal reason to search, he/she will back off, I assure you. EVERYONE SHOULD GO ONLINE AND RESEARCH WHAT YOUR RIGHTS ARE IN DIFFERENT SCENARIOS (in a traffic stop, just walking down the street or in an airport etc.) YOU MIGHT BE SURPRISED AT THE SMALL SCOPE COPS HAVE TO DETAIN AND SEARCH....COPS RELY ON YOUR IGNORANCE TO MAKE THEIR JOB EASIER!!! DO NOT CONSENT TO ANYTHING, MAKE COPS DO THEIR JOB CORRECTLY AND LEGALLY.... IF YOU DO, YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF NEEDLESSLY DETAINED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OR IN JAIL!! PROTECT YOURSELF!!!!

Many times, especially in traffic stops, cops won't even ask for consent, they'll just start searching until you object. If you don't object, you're screwed because the fact they searched without cause or consent may be buried beneath what they find. Never have anything illegal in plain sight, keep those little gems secure and out of sight. Cops, in a traffic stop, do not have the right to detain you any longer than than it takes for necessary chit/chat, quickly review your docs, verbal warning or written warning or ticket and have you be on your way. Without smelling or seeing something illegal in your car THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO SEARCH...IF YOU DECLINE A SEARCH, DON'T FALL FOR THE "WE NEED TO WAIT FOR THE DOG" , BULLSHIT...ADVISE THE COP IF THEY HAVE NO CAUSE, YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ON YOUR WAY!! BE POLITE BUT FIRM...LET THEM KNOW, WITHOUT SCREAMING YOUR RIGHTS ARE BEING VIOLATED, THAT YOU DO KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND WANT TO EXERCISE THOSE RIGHTS!! BEING A "RIGHTS SMARTASS" WILL ONLY HURT YOU...IF THE COPS THINK YOU ARE "RIGHTS SAVVY" AND ARE NOT A PRICK YOU'LL JUST BE CUT LOOSE IN NO TIME!! THE COP, NOT YOU, WILL BE THE ONE INTIMIDATED!!!

they were brain dead. or the police did not tell them the truth. Probably a mixture of the 2. besides, consider the shock, the fact that criminals are often not too bright, that they are in stress and a bazillion psychologic factors. F.e. the police always ask "Do you mind, if I look into your bag?" no no no no no no no... is screaming in your head from the very moment they approached you there. then they shocked you with a badge, and you (in this example) are uhm... not the "brightest tool in the drawer of rocket surgery" you say NO. boom, your permission given. the police never asks "Do you give me the permission to look into your bag?" And that's for a reason.

It cost 13Gs to murder a man? So cheap is human life? It cost more to investigate the case. @@leeorshimhoni8949 I'm interested in what these academic cops do differently to catch every single murder (which is a strong, and somewhat puzzling claim). In the US at least modern technology has drastically cut back on serial killers, much harder to be anonymous when there are license plate scanners and networks of security cameras in urban areas. I imagine the only way to catch _every single murder_ is to have a total surveillance state where everyone's communications and movements are monitored at all times.

There is a huge gap between "street price" of narcotics and what crooks actually get. New studies made in both Italy and USA have confirmed that criminals earn less with narcotics than often claimed.
