Many years ago in the early 70's I was in my early 20's and doing stupid things on the street. My uncle found out about it from friends of his. My family is from Garfield place so they knew all the players. He called for me and told me something I'll never forget. Remember, you live by the sword you die by the sword. I got out!

Hey Mr. Franzese! I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was the one who asked you (no disrespect intended) if you were okay to travel outside the US. Again, no disrespect intended and I definitely enjoy your videos. Your videos are another form of "Chicken soup for the soul." That's part of the reason I watch them because I love coming away with a good helping of your soup (and hopefully later, your wine). Anyway, I really loved what you are saying about forgiveness. What most people think about forgiving someone is that you have to like the person that you forgive. That is far from the truth. What it is (as I learned it from positive attitude tapes and seminars) is that you just let go. That's it. Let go. For some people, that's really hard to do. It was hard for me, but I did it and I still continue to do it. I'm a Junior/Senior high school teacher in Japan, married to a lovely (and sometimes somewhat stubborn lady, but I love her and tell her that everyday) Japanese lady with 3 great girls (all Japanese born). I teach them and my students this and that failure is (First Attempt In Learning). You have to make mistakes to be successful. Thank you very much for your videos and God continue to bless you and others like you. Manuel Valencia (Call me "Manny."

I respect Michael because he is always honest about "the Life." No holes barred; it was what it was. He is also living his truth today with integrity. Meanwhile, I hope Mr. McBratney knows his father is watching over him in spirit, but the lesson of choices often has lifelong consequences. Godspeed to them.

This was a wonderful interview. It is amazing that he was able to forgive Gotti. Just one note, he never actually said he was a Christian. He said “I’m as spiritual as they come” and admitted that he experienced God moments through many events in his life, but he never actually said he was a follower of Yeshua.
