For the last fourteen years Other Voices has been capturing musical performances in intimate spaces. The TV show and music festival which began in Dingle, Ireland has travelled to London, New York, Derry, Latitude Festival and Ireland's premier music festival, Electric Picnic.

John had this to say about the track: Marz was a sweet shop from my childhood. It’s now empty and for sale. But I got to visit beforehand, and the woman who served me as a child was still there. They still made all their own candies and ice cream. In the song, I list all the names of the sundaes, and drinks like Green River. The song is about the gateway back to childhood and innocence, before things have become complicated. The owner’s name was Marzetti, which was shortened to Marz. The main theme of the song is a melancholic longing to return to one’s favourite childhood memories. RedTooon December 26, 2019 Link

I heard this at the closing credits of the film "Weekend" and it gave me chills and goosebumps. What a song, what a voice !

Why haven't I known about this artist before now..just watched Weekend and this beautiful music came on at the end of the film..I did a search on him right away..wow interesting and that voice..his lyrics..lol love him already..I am going to buy his some of his back catalogue.
