+bruce wayne have to disagree, it's actually a very common thing for sitcom writers to base characters of the actors themselves, then they find chemistry between different actors. it makes for great comedy, like the office and parks and recreation.

i didn't get into the office until AFTER it went of the air and my friend introduced me to the show through netflix which is funny since i was a HUGE parks and recreation fan and that show was created by the same uys who created the office small world :) so for a LONG time i only knew john krasinski as the very cute lucky guy that was married to the gorgeous emily blunt

I was into The Office in 9th grade, I had a The Office notebook, I had The Office theme song as my ringtone then when Steve Carrell left I fell off. I should get back into it because I think it's a brilliant show. Now that I'm a lot older (well, about to be 21) I actually have the opportunity to work on a show (IF it gets picked up hopefully by a big HBO or Shotime, we already got turned down by a basic cable network. A setback is a set up for a comeback 😌) that will be similar to the Office!
