I remember exactly where I was the moment it was announced that john Lennon was killed. I was over a friends house and we were standing in her bathroom getting ready to go out. We dropped to the floor and sat there crying. Was truly an impact on my generation!

Definitely a big loss for humanity. I have been past his memorial hundreds of times, it has never been empty at any time of day or any time of year. This video is a random February morning on a Wednesday. I love going there. It's a beautiful area. The building at the beginning was his home, The Dakota.
