What a day you had! It is, without a doubt, my favorite hike in the Whites. The views and exposure can't be beat. I may need to do it again! You had me patiently waiting when you started putting the teasers out. Be good brother.

There was a radioshow in the Netherlands during the 80's and 90's called VARA's VUURWERK (V.A.R.A.'s FIREWORKS) and it aired rock and metal bands. At the time i was a KISS fan, and.. this song played one night. I was hooked. I got the album and was amazed by the sleeve art. Didn't really knew it was "satanic" in nature. But not long thereafter some older metalheads introduced me to SLAYER. Yeah, i was on the lefthand path. You wanna know something crazy? In the early 2000's someone introduced me to "Them" by King Diamond and i told him i didn't like the style of the singer. I did not make the connection. At all. The fog of THC, i guess. Today i listen to Origin, Nile, Psycroptic etc. I do like King D. as a vocalist in both bands. Hahaa...

I saw them at the same tour. I saw them at the State Theater in Detroit. AFI and L7 opened up for The Offspring. Best show I have ever been to

Haha. I can show you inflation just from all my Iron Maiden tickets stubs from the past 30 years. I think my cheapest Maiden ticket was $18 and the priciest $100. The $18 ticket was when the briefly had another singer and no one wanted to see them so we saw them in a small club with 500 people. Met them that day too, minus Bruce.

😮does that ticket stub actually say 52 bucks...shades of yester year..silver stadium, Rochester, but ticket prices have really gotten out of control...enjoyed toronto, and enen the shere...but that show in Rochester was my favorite...just after the slip in Washington, broke his arm in Washington...and seriously thought at that time, another concert canceled, pulled it off...in Bano nature.., he opens with " not sure why we haven't played here before"...
