The things that make John Mayer a great guitarist are his unique comprehension of tone, together with his creativity with familiar pentatonic ideas, as well, as his ability to fuse jazzy additions into his very original improv style and finally, his control over dynamics. There is rarely any sloppiness that is due to a compromise for flashiness. All these together make him a high level professional and solidify his talent as being a guitarist first and a vocalist second.

Wo wo wow, John’s got the country twang. Sounds amazing. Wish he would play more Tele :-)

I think the same. A maple Neck Tele has a more honest sound (in my opinion).

Dont let John fool you, the guitar does have great tone but its all about dynamics and playing skills you can get a tele and still suck
@randyvanvliet2265 жыл бұрын
@@Pablito5614 Correct, you could put a Squire Tele in John's hands with his favorite setup and strings, and he'd make beautiful music with it too.
