So great to see the trio live again. The Strat is so much more dynamic than the PRS imo. It’s like listening to vinyl vs Spotify.

Anyone else miss the tone and the way he used to solo from like 2009-2014? it’s not even the PRS, he just plays different now.

That final solo was reminiscent of Free Bird. I've seen every Mayer solo and that still blew me out of the water.

Guy is a master. He’s getting better every year. I’ve never seen him have this much fun playing guitar. I want more trio stuff.

Monterey strat with the fender strap is so 2007 and I'm here for it. Kenny Wayne Shepherd showed his on rig rundown and gave Mayer props for also playing the priceless artifact.

It looks and feels like John has secretly been waiting for the trio to make a comeback. 🙏
