I think it’s a fantastic color combo. I bought it and I also have the first edition too. I’m going to keep collecting them, if you notice these watches go up in value because they’re limited edition and people want them so I’m happy to have them in my collection.

I grabbed one off of Hodinkee love the off-white color and the colors in general on this version. $180 is not crazy. I want to say that I paid a bit more for the G Shock NASA edition. This appeals to me much greater than the NASA.

I thought my slashers for wet on my phone that was causing the crappy around distortion. Glad it wasn't just me hearing questionable sounds quality. This is just ok... I'm a fan of retro watches.. but not a fan of neither John nor of this particular g-shock style. So, a courteous pass for me. I'd rather spend $180 on new set of straps for my existing watches to get something more interesting and I'd wear more.

i really like the hodinkee editions i wish they wernt hype so i dont feel as scared to wear them. i have the unimatic, timex, and now this one

The Neo Tokyo series are way more interesting and cool looking. I don’t find this one appealing at all…a miss in my mind.

Agreed! My regular DW6900 cost $40. I wear it way more than I expected given I like mechanical watches.

The fact that the number that will be produced is unknown and the timing of the release is a sure indication (at least for me) that this is a cash grab.
