Can y’all stop saying that ‘John treated Michelle really bad’ because it’s not true at all, at the end where he shouted at her, it was because he didn’t want to break her heart, he had a panic attack, he truly loved her, but because of his mom passing away, he didn’t know if he was emotionally stable. Tbh Eldon legit just treated Michelle like a trophy to be won, he competed for her...

Now let’s stop demonizing John for having anxiety and depression and acknowledge that he loved her selflessly 😀. He himself said, “Michelle seems so happy. I don’t want to bring her down”/“I’m doing this for Michelle’s own good. She’s better off without me”. He was feeling the end of the tunnel until Clara’s depression and anxiety triggered his own and then he had a mental relapse. He’s not an asshole, he’s just hurt from the trauma of his mom committing suicide. Jesus Christ
