John Rigby & Co. have produced a limited series of 350. Rigby London Best rifles to support Pauline and Robin Hurt's Habitat for Rhino project in Namibia.
Rigby have a lengthy heritage of actively supporting wildlife and habitat conservation projects around the world. From the Jim Corbett National Park in India to the Scottish Highlands, Rigby have historically raised significant funds to protect some of the most precious flora and fauna on the planet. This year is no different.
To celebrate World Rhino Day 2022, Rigby are proud to announce our latest partnership with the Habitat for Rhino Project, Namibia.
The Habitat for Rhino project was founded by Pauline and Robin Hurt ten years ago and has reintroduced a population of wild white rhino to an area of Namibia. Since the inception of the project, the programme has been a huge success with the rhino population now naturally breeding and thriving. Most importantly there have been no poaching incidents thanks to the anti-poaching team, funded by Pauline and Robin privately and those who have generously donated to the project.
Rigby are delighted to announce the production of a limited edition .350 London Best magazine rifle in support of the project and its 12 wild white Rhinos. There will be 12 rifles made in total, each individually engraved with a name of one of the rhinos from the project. They will also have the Habitat for Rhino logo engraved on the floor plate, designed by Pauline Hurt.
A significant contribution from the sale of each of the rifles will go directly to the Habitat for Rhino Project to continue to protect these precious creatures for generations to come.
