JR, congratulations on your Knighthood. I remember back in the late 60s when you got me up on the stage at the Associated Motor Club in George St, Sydney & at the Coogee Bay Hotel & we sang "She Taught Me How To Yodel". Fun times, once again Congratulations Sir John.

Saw John live at the International Hotel in Rotorua, He was brilliant then and this was before he went big time around the rest of the world. Kiwi from Virginia

I love listening to your storys. Miss those hours you chatting with Mum either by phone or in person whilst visiting Kawerau. Yours and Mums wit was priceless. Fixed firmly in my heart is everything you did. I knew every word in every song you sung. You nurtured me throughout my whole and Ive never told you. So heres hoping you see this. Id love to visit you. Maybe Connie's my ticket to you. Agape love Moana❤

He had lost a lot of weight. I met him in Birmingham UK with my sister, he was the most handsome man i have ever met.
