Name was not recorded with that guitar, this guitar was only used for live purposes on the DUTG tour. Nobody knows the actual guitar Name was recorded with, but if I ever meet John it is my #1 question for him. I want to know how that song was recorded.

John's guitar playing is underrated, IMO..he's a songwriter first..but his guitar approach is also original.

Due to the alternate tunings her uses, I'd guess John owns about 50 different guitars. No big loss. Although giving away the "Name" guitar was very brave. Surely this was for charity, right? But it's not specified.

I have the same in candy apple red. I bought in 1999 after saw his yellow which i adored. i love this guitar still with me.

So when I was a kid a would break strings and be too poor to buy new ones. I would fiddle with tunings to make the most use out of them and one day I landed on a tuning of mostly D and noticed how mich it sounded like goo goo dolls. Its now my standard tuning for my own music. Cheers!
