It is extremely difficult to replicate the circumstances that a Superstar talent went through to become great in the first place. When they have kids, their kids are usually spoiled rotten & that hunger to succeed & achieve just isn’t present after everything has been handed to you. Steph is a rare exception to this & it’s been amazing to watch!

@@tonyt4854 I actually knew Kobe, seen video of his dad. Kobe's Dad is a legend in basketball circles so her would use that as a way to push Kobe's name out there. Jelly Bean would go to camps talk to the director then have them play one on one against Kobe. He would also keep Kobe around NBA guys, which is why Kobe was so well known even though he rarely played AAU Ball. Basically Kobe took his fathers blueprint and doing the same thing with GiGi using his clout to get the best players around the country to rain and play one on one with his daughter

Dell was definitely a known commodity during his era but he wasn’t of “superstar” notoriety. But I personally remember Dell Curry lighting up from long range so he was definitely a star. I just think superstar is reserved for the likes of guys like Kobe, MJ, Shaq and the likes…

They did turn around the argument though, in a way it didnt make sense. It started out as there has never been a superstar NBA player who had a son who was a superstar. All of the sudden it's about which Dad was a superstar, and it turns out there have been none when compared to their son. Which is kind of stupid cause of you are gifted and you had a dad who played in the NBA, of course you're going to be better than him. Cause you are around that life, you know it's possible for you and you have an NBA player coaching you since you're a toddler. It doesnt work all the time but that's mainly cause the sons arent gifted like the dad or not as hungry. We see it in Bronny, probably Bryce, Sharif and so on. I'd say, fuck that superstar argument as a whole, if you have multiple generations playing on such a high level for an extended period of time, that means something big.
