I definitely wouldn’t be criticizing a man who has the most assists & steals in NBA History. Point Guards should be learning and taking notes from his team player mindset. The man is extremely underrated.

My list is 1. Magic 2. Curry 3-5 in any order IT, Big O, Stockton 6-10 in any order Chris paul, nash, Kidd, Gary payton, and probably Westbrook. Jerry West is a sg to me as well as AI and Harden. You can't honestly tell me Stockton is not one of the greatest pgs of all time. Just because he wasn't flashy and was white does not take away from his greatness. Watch tape and look at the statistics. You probably one of those people who think Dame is top 5 all time at PG lol. Instead of just saying shit, back it up. The truth is I already know your argument. He had Malone. Magic had Kareem, Micheal cooper, and worthy. Curry had Klay, draymond, and KD. IT had Dantley, Dumars, laimbeer, and rodman. The Big O had kareem, Jerry lucas, and Dandridge. Nash had Dirk, amare, marion, Finley, Kobe for a year, and prime Jrich. Gary payton had Kemp and said Stockton was the toughest person for him to ever guard. Kidd had Melo for a year, Dirk, VC, mashburn, and Jim Jackson. Chris paul had Harden, Blake griffin, Dbook, prime David West, ayton, and a bunch of sharpshooters. Westbrook had KD, Harden, Bron, and so on. If your next argument is because of the Era. Well it was MJs Era too. You would be calling MJ trash. I have given some facts so why don't you explain to me how he isn't top 5 of all time. No one is beating what he's done statistically. He's also extremely durable. He has to be top 5. Better resume then everyone else below him.

The guy didnt have any serious impact on winning, has numerous playoff meltdowns and his effect and pressure as a scorer is way too low in relation to other all time greats. Magic, curry, It, oscar, nash, kidd, gp, Cp3, west (who is a pg), walt fraizer and YES dame is better than Stockton. Stockton was not a “bad” player, but he is routinely put in conversations with players who are way better than him.

@K-Dot16 @K-Dot16 what playoff meltdowns are you talking about? He hit the shot that sent the Jazz to their first finals, had multiple 20 20 games in the playoffs, and averaged a double double. Bro stockton tended to come in from the left wing. He'd start a break or defend often over to the left then push it up with his right hand across to that left side. Then he'd beat defenders to the bucket for lays from going left. Or pull up from deep and just hit net. Or come right and rack up loads of assists. Poor title for the video

Stockton has a faster first step with a right to left cross over, and it's one of the obvious signs that Jordan has a hard time with fast guys who play up front because, Stockton always gets MJ with it. Stockton has zero problems going left.

People forget Stockon could shoot and his shot percentage was way high, bro played like a point but he could shoot the lights out if you let him. Also man had the locks of a life most steals (3,265) and assists that will never be broken (15k) thise records arent gonna be broken
