You can't compare someone who played for years in the prem to someone who recently just came to the prem (compared to other legends). VVD is good, but he will never be among Terry, Campbell, Rio, Vidic etc. Only if he was at the top for longer would he be classified as the best CB's of the prem

Nah. Both Terry and Puyol were underrated on the ball but they were stoppers who complemented Piqué's ball-playing ability. You also can't take Puyol away from Barca; he was Barca and his mentality was unmatched.
