It was 1985. She took my hand and pulled me into an empty office, and looking into my eyes an marking every word she asked me with an annoyed voice: "What do I have to do so you love me?" This song came through the door from the radio; I gently grabbed her waist and told her: "Just one thing, prove to me you can dance a slow one". With a wicked smile she slowly placed her soft velvet hands on my shoulders and we started moving to the rythm of this beat. I could see in her eyes she was already seeing the future. Then, very smoothly our lips found each other and I can say they haven't gotten appart since then. It's 2022 now.

Been there too, for years walking with one person in my heart, excluding any other option. Even willing to grow old alone, feeling married in my soul but eventually I woke up and I'm free from him now. I took distance too from the idea he was the only one to understand and respect me. Started dating and I learned that I have a choice in life to accept an illusion or reality and I am allowed to live my life, enjoy love instead of being a prisoner just because of one person.
