Honestly, the past few years have made me realize that my generation is beyond hopeless. It's messed up, but most of us will simply go along with whatever politicians, celebrities, and media personalities tell us too.

I’m not sure which young people this gentleman is speaking to, but the ones I see in the course of my clinical practice are more narcissistic and disillusioned than I have ever seen.

I am still looking fir the narcissists. They usually appear on platforms like this one: case in point. Perhaps the pastime of telling people what and who they are, a main tenet of religion, will cause your adherers, flock, to appear narcissistic. Lol. It aint them dear.

It should be made clear that the Rabbi died some years ago. He's as relevant now as he was then,truly a great man.

Spot on! I dumped FB 13 years ago as it seemed to me little more than a source of narcissistic supply for millions and of no value to me.

One set of factors that I do not hear discussed are the problems mobility causes within both society at large and in the home specifically. Where once close and lasting friendships in childhood could be formed moving the household several times even within the same suburban area can inhibit or destroy these relationships. Hence the child and the adult turn to social media in search of some sort of friendship no matter how artificial.

Lol. Of course priests hate selfs. Their mission has always been coopting the individual. “The cause you lead for.” At least they are consistent. And call it narcissism. Ignoring the massive narcissism of the pious.
