No disrespect, but this is a poor tutorial. A half cab is a nose roll 180, combining a nollie and 180. But that aside, let's say it's just a switch 180 for your sake. If this is for people that already do 180's, fs and bs regular like you said in the vid, then there's no point in watching this as they already know the technique. If it's for beginners too, you're all over the place. You say "you gotta have the right technique with your upper body" then don't explain what the technique is. In the demo without a board, you use rotation (not done that well either) and pop off your toes (you say heels, which you're not doing). Then when doing it strapped in, you use counter rotation (the opposite compared to the demo without the board), but you're implying to use rotation with the "your body will follow your shoulders" even though you're facing forward before the jump to apply counter rotation in the air. Then you say "there's really not much to say".....so what's the point of this vid if you're not explaining well and proceed to say there's nothing else to say. Don't get me wrong, the vids can be entertaining. But if you want to be instructing with these tutorials, then apply the technique well and explain it properly. You're a good example of doing tricks because you're comfortable on a board vs because you're technique is good. Either explain(and apply it to yourself too) the technique better or just stay a fun vlogging channel.

This is just a switch fs180 not a half cab. Technically a Caballerial invented by Steve Caballero is a fakie oliie 360, in snowboard terms it’s a nollie Fs 360 while riding switch. If it’s not thrown from the downhill nose of the board it isn’t cab. Cab has been thrown around in snowboarding incorrectly to mean switch for too long, End the madness.

Yeah! I was so terrible at switch I don't think I ever tried a switch trick. It was just weird to me. But I want to get better at switch and hopefully throw a switch 180 this season. After I learn to snowboard again, but I think it's a realistic goal.
