Learn why most of the time shutter speeds don't have a lot of impact when you're shooting with flash in the studio. However, it's a whole different situation when you're on location or mixing with constant lights.

I really like the lessons where flash combined with ambient light are discussed. Somehow, the idea of modifying, or probably better put as enhancing, existing light, is of great interest to me. I love the image examples of photos you made with these techniques given near the end of this video. The shot of the bartender is incredible, to name one. A lesson or two about composition and image design when using these techniques would be awesome as well. Thank you!

Awesome! Always wanted to master this effect of the background being blurred and subject frozen. I will finish watching the video but it’s important to know that some flashes are too slow when photographing extremely fast subjects / shutter speeds. This can vary across brands and also types of studio lights, but is always shown as one of two measurements: t0.5 or t0.1. EDIT: just realised you explained everything :))
