FLASH DURATION Explained + a demo (kinda)

In this video, I discuss the meaning of Flash Duration, which is an essential component in using artificial light for food photography. If you ever wanted to incorporate high speed photography into your food photography, understanding flash duration is the foundation for setting yourself up for success. I walk you through the core concept of how it works and demonstrate with a few experiments.

CORRECTION:
I noticed after the fact that I should've said/put T.1 time instead of T1 time because it is indeed 10% of the light that is left at this time measurement. I apologize. I also said "squeezer" to describe the tool I used to squirt water out into the cup when the proper name is pipet.

Thanks Denny! Yes it's possible but much more difficult as you would need a very bright light source with a fast shutter speed.

Can we use burst mode for freezing action with flash?

I can understand that the lower the power, the higher the freezing speed, but in the dark, if the HSS is bright, how does t0.1 and HSS show the graph? Why does it take more power?
