That second angled cut thru the zero clearance plate says it all, perfect trunion design.

John, That's a masterpiece. I really enjoyed your showing us this build. You have shown us how to work through a shop project piece by piece overcoming the obstacles and building in all the important features of a table saw. Well done!

Love the sound of a proper induction motor tablesaw - my biggest problem with most homebuilt wooden tablesaws is they are Skillsaw based. A fine build.

I know this an involved process with the engineering decisions you had to make and problems you had to negotiate, but it still surprised me how quickly you completed it once you started. I thought we'd be seeing this project for 3-4 months, not 1. Really nice work (as usual). You are a real inspiration that I need to keep plugging away at my small projects because I can get them done.

Looks awesome man! I bet it feels great having such a big project finished. I hope you make a followup video or two once you've had time to use it to show any tweaks you need to make, how the wood construction holds up, etc.

Very nice job John. I hope you get years of use from it; thoroughly enjoyed watching you make it. You sir are a woodworking engineer. And in my opinion; that saw definitely deserves the choice of table top, no matter the cost. Thank you for taking the time to video this project.

Amazing result ! Hard to belief that the fence is now on the 3the saw ! That nobody ever says again that you can't make a good fence out of plywood! (Or tablesaw )I really enjoyed this build , you are still NR. 1! 👍👍👍

The tools that are affordable, are mostly not highly machined. Also a tool like this you can allways fix yourself instead of having to scrap it and buy a new.

Interestingly, that company filed for bankruptcy shortly after John left. The official statement was that they had gravely overestimated their stock on door-hinges.
