An excellent job, John. I really like how you solved the motor weight problem to allow for the front bevel locking handle. This is truly a better mousetrap.

Watching you build the 3rd trunnion I was thinking "that needs a tab to keep it from flexing" Was not disappointed. Looked and sounded so smooth when you started it up. It was the link to your original homemade table saw from Matthias' website years ago that led me here, I've been enjoying your builds ever since.

It's good to see how different people tackle the same sorts of projects John. I built something like Jay Bate's router lifter for my height adjustment and made that whole assembly swing for angled cuts with a lock on the height adjustment rod. But that's a great idea putting extra nuts on the protruding 1/2" threaded rod. I know when I built mine a fair few years ago, the 3/8 threaded rod I used would flex when adjusting. I'll give this a shot and see if it stiffens it up a bit - Thanks.

Starting to see the finish line and looking great! I don't know how you manage to make perfect cuts on your miter saw where the sheet is wider than the saw capacity. Flipping the plywood, then finishing the second cut to line up with the first cut.

Hi John, it does not look like the space in front of the arbor is large enough to support a riving knife. It is your design so I guess you don't want one, however, to add a riving knife it would require quite a few changes to the design
