Easy and simple way to raise the working surface of a common folding table to a comfortable height when standing. Make wrapping gifts, garage chores, projects easier on your back when working from the standing position.
These measurement are for table legs which are 24-25" wide.
Parts List:
75.5" piece of 1" PVC pipe, schedule 40 ( schedule 40 PVC is thicker and more durable)
4 - PVC 1" elbows
4 - PVC 1" couplers
Cut the section of PVC pipe as follows:
2 pieces - 22.25" (22-1/4")
4 pieces - 7.75" (7- 3/4")
Assemble as shown in the picture.

This is great. Thank you. I'll post once I'm done. Have a sewing table which as two positions. With a flat top it's way too low. This is perfect.

I overthink things, so bear with me. you said schedule 40 / thicker. Isn't sched 80 the thicker version? I saw others not using the top couplers - just slide the right diameter PVC onto the legs and they are stopped by the bend of the metal pipe (so more metal pipe in the PVC / less chance someone accidentally kicks the PVC, the metal leg pops out of the PVC 'cup' / coupler and table falls on that side)? And your thoughts on pros / cons of leaving off the elbows & horizontal pieces on the ground? cons? Less sturdy / stable? pros? lower cost. any others?

I am certain there are other ways to configure a set of extension legs. You sound like an analytical person so you may be on to something.
