i don't think it's the same in powerlifting, because all of your PRs should be occurring on competition day right? sam urai, what I mean is that you can observe more bouncing and partial reps in the bodybuilding community rather than in the powerlifting community. Actually, I've observed that most powerlifters wouldn't always train with their competition ROM like in this video.

Slow reps =/= strict form Powerlifters also utilize slow reps as an accessory.

Some bodies are made for this. This man got it. I have none. That is why I do endurance sports. Of course little weight training too.

How is the bench press performed with an arched back? Shorter people have a better advantage, short arm and small range of motion to go through. Is that normal power lifting range?

@Puppyfu It is indeed genetics. But if you are prone to mbp you actually have a good change to speed it up by a fair margin. Being bald at 30 rather than 45, give or take.

99% of IPF competitors are drug free, the way they get tested especially at this level get random year round drug test, watch canditos video on how hard it is to actually cheat their drug test. You probably don’t follow powerlifting much by the sound of that statement

it is not as simple as you say, that way they completely isolate the chest and also reduce the risk of injury
@maik9022

Completely isolating the chest is the last thing that is happening here. And neither should you try to in a proper bench press.
@BenjaminKuruga

Touching the chest typically gives full ROM, which also increases shoulder joint damage and risk of injury. Still,
