JaredRmz yah back then they didn't use as much cgi and the process was slower so they put work into every Frame of it,

Garvin Lim color correction can maybe fix it. In dark environments, it looks good tho

It’s cause they used conventional film for the first 2 Ironman movies the rest are digital and more CGI

Iron Man 3 focused on combat, and also don't forget that mark 42 can't fly properly and fly higher than 150m. Because its a prototype

I have watched Iron Man 1 more times than I can count, but this is the first time I've noticed that at 0:43, you can actually see Tony's eyes when the mask turns off. That's crazy!

Yeah, I hadn't noticed until someone mentioned it. I guess Stark is trading armor for mobility/weapons. The older suits did look super cool.

One thing the CGI details left out is the vapor cones and vapor trails that would come off the suit during supersonic flight. Look at any gen 5 fighter jet during an air show and you’ll see vapor trails coming off of the wing tips. On the iron man suit there would have been vapor coming from the fingertips and shoes

The only sonic boom vapor cone in the whole series was in Iron Man 1 during the F-22 chase.

The Superman movie was the closest CGI to real supersonic flight, but they mainly focused on vapor cones and didn’t include many vapor trails. However they did include a short vapor trail right after Superman takes off in the beginning. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/msmaialmuqe1aX0.html
