I got more out of your great lesson than all the others I've been watching for last 2 years when I picked up the guitar at 60 years old. I'm able to grasp every part of the lesson, maybe because of you calm, cool, laid back manner. Thank you so much!

I am a 70-year-old man in poor health. I got a Martin X series acoustic guitar. V. hard to learn, hurts the fingers and to get the Rythm, well, let's say nothing on that. Now about your teaching methods, "They are great" You are teaching me what I have always wanted to know, Thank you so much. I may never be able to play well but, as they say "I died trying". Thank you sincerely

Hi ! Nice lesson ! I'm a senior (with the usual arthritis), and I'm new to guitar, and I'm stubborn...I won't quit even though the arthritis makes me sound bad. I'm gonna keep plugging along, and YOUR lesson is a big help ! Thank you and please do some more pick/strum, and walking bass, etc. Thank you !

You are a *fantastic* teacher! Thank you for a great video. I've tried and failed about 5 times to learn the basics of guitar across my life, this video had me amazed at how quickly I was able to start to get some introductory things down while also creating a really fun sound! Fingers crossed I can stick to it this time! 😄

@5:46 that's my new A Major. Finding it difficult to use 3 digits on any fret. Delighted with that solution. Thank you. For real though, I've wasted a whole year, and KZfaq's got me playing Popeye the sailor man. But,sure i only bought a guitar for Marty Robbins and Johnny Cash songs. I can play these chords, at pace, in a few days. Happy enough with that

Wonderful lesson for playing the music of iconic country songwriter/performer-Johnny Cash. Luther Perkins, though, deserves the mention as the developer and driving force behind this sound-Great as he was at other aspects, Johnny’s playing was beginner level.
