In this scene, Johnny stole Daniel's place as a past troublemaker, as he started the fight. Yet it doesn't matter, cause I adore this scene.

Daniel and Johnny easily beat the thugs but when they fight each other at the end, at first I thought they're both so closely matched that it's like a sparring session, but on second thoughts, because Johnny's the aggressor and Daniel is easily just containing him, I think that Daniel is more skilled than Johnny and could have hurt him if he wanted to but obviously he doesn't want to hurt him and is using Miyagido defense based karate, but Johnny often fights angry and undisciplined, it makes him not as effective as he could be, Daniel fights calm and focused

If you watch their fight in season 2, you'll notice that the only time Daniel got hit was when he was trying to go after Sam.

This is all true but however I’m not so sure Danny is the better fighter Johnny is out of control and sloppy but with martial artists this high of a level as they supposed to be on the show it all balls down to little moments who’s distracted who’s willing to finish the fight which attacks the others isn’t familiar with all these play major factors I think Johnny hasn’t mastered his own karate he’s still a incomplete student playing a master while Daniel knows his weakness which is over aggression. I think we will see this in season 4 I hope just like we saw Daniel come to peace and learn some of the secrets to his own karate

2:25 I like the way Daniel stumbles there, it's the same as is walking style he had in Karate kid when he is angry at the football field. Maybe he is feeling the same anger right now. I think it's great if that was intentional from the writers

Well some of us would blame Johnny for striking first but I guess at some point Daniel would have done the same because remember ali says these two are more alike so this fight was gonna happen anyway and I'm glad Johnny started it because he just won't back out of a fight and neither would Daniel and it's really cool they still got it and make a pretty good team. Just king stuff ! Strike first, strike hard.

Agreed!! IT was a stunning kick!! And because we see Daniel make IT ONLY from back And we don't see his face, IT was definitely double.. but WHO Cares.. IT was Daniel Larusso all along And This fight Is Daniel's best so far in the series (haven't seen season 5 yet)!!:-))

Johnny's moves are a natural, simply because he actually knows karate in real life and he practices it, while Daniel's are clunky and sloppy/clumsy.
