But the large majority of abusers are men. Depp abused Amber for years in a cycle intoxicated abusive rages and blackouts, jealous and controlling behavior, and horrific verbal abuse, berating and taunting with expressions of sadistic torture, murder, and sexual assault. Mentions of kicking, pushing, throwing things, and beating the crap out of her, were not denied. He apologized. He documented this himself in his own texts. In recordings he told her it was HER JOB to remind him not to hurt her and remind him not to become the "monster". Multiple bouts of detox rage and vomit and poo pants cleanup only to binge again. All this happened before Depp recorded Amber's anger that condemned her. You ignore all of his abuse but fixate on her. This is why these shady lawyers are paid the big bucks. They put this in your heads. And you just believed their narrative. They are not paid tell the truth. They are paid to twist reality and gaslight the jury and public to their wealthy clients favor

Notice the difference in how these two attorneys answer questions and speak of the opposing side vs how AH’s lawyer does. Johnny’s representation team is nuanced, careful with their words, and respectful even when they’re disappointed about something. They don’t attack the character of Elaine or try to turn this into political grandstanding. She, on the other hand, is doing the opposite, and it speaks to a lack of professionalism that just validates the sense of the jury’s verdict.

@The Amber Heard Playlist!! hello. Everyone has condemned amber without knowing all the facts. I want to know what kind of person can behave in public like they are an innocent victim like depp. Abusers like Depp know how to extract reactions from people like amber. To make them look bad. I recently read about new dark personality manipulators who are more dangerous as they can bring their victim closer so they can hurt them more. In the long run amber will benefit. She is brave enough to call out the proverbial "king" (johnny) has no clothes. Big man Johnny, you put that lady through hell. That was abuse in itself. Does Johnny have an attitude towards woman from being beat up, "abused" in the elementary school playground by the girls? Acting like a rock star. How about this. Hitler was at first a "rock star. People loved him. I think we know the rest of that story. Johnny did this for principle, not money? Someday the real Johnny will emerge. He does not care about that. His being a rock star so to speak. He knows there always will be another star struck victim to abuse. Would Johnny treat someone this way who is his size or bigger? As far as damage to his pathetic image he has no one to blame but himself. He should receive an Oscar for his performance. Civil cases decisions do not have to be unanimous. Like Harvey weinstein once a victim comes forward the rest will follow. I will say it, Depp is a wife beater. Why don't you sue me Johnny? I am bigger than him. Principle not money? I have nothing to lose. Principle? In my opinion Depp is a remorseful loser. Regrets how he spent his money & needed amber to blame. Suck it up Depp. Try to be the man you are not.

ON TV.. but she defends HEARD BECAUSE SHES A WOMAN AND ITS DISGUSTING. As for the UK trial, that was corrupt because the judge had ties with HEARD and ELAINE whining about HEARDS therapist not being allowed to testify was the right decision because HEARD LIES TO THERAPISTS.. and opinions don’t count.. I listened to many hours of audio and when DEPP and Heard discussed seeing a therapist DEPP kept on saying ‘but you will have to tell the truth’ over and over.. DEPP is 100% the VICTIM HERE and every DV VICTIM ON THE PLANET KNOWS THIS..

The contrast between these two incredible lawyers and Elaine is staggering. They are so much more poised, logical and professional. They don't claim to know better, they don't preach, they just give us facts. Amber and Elaine act as if we didn't see this trial, yet we all did and Camille was right: the verdict was fair, they proved every single statement Amber made to be false. It's not a setback for women, it's a step forward for both men and women. It's proof that all genders can have equal consideration and equal punishment. Just because you're a women doesn't mean that you can't be tried for your crimes, just because you're a man doesn't mean you can't get justice when you've been abused. EDIT: Some people in the comments are convinced that Elaine's only fault was to be saddled with a bad client. Up until her interview I somewhat agreed (though I did not appreciate the mocking tone she assumed when talking to witnesses). However she willingly went on national TV, disrespected the jury and the judge, came close to defaming Depp and tried to play victim while deflecting both the blame and questions. These facts are what disappointed me. On the other hand, Depp's lawyers did interviews in response to her allegations. And it was the right thing to do. But unlike her, they don't try to be holier-than-thou. I'm not being biased, I'm simply stating what is clear to see. The trial is over, and the verdict has been pronounced. Justice has been served, it's now time to accept it and move on. Hopefully this trial will serve as a lesson for liars, regardless of gender.

@@matthiasdahms7 I 100% agree, the stereotype on Men sometimes is logical, but extremely upsetting when situations like this happen and ruin a man’s life. It also makes a lot of men scared to stand up, because who are the general public and close friends going to believe? You the man who apparently got abused in so many different ways, or a woman who claims the same thing? The woman will always come on top, and it’s really upsetting. I believe Men and Woman should be equal to everyone, and mainly the stereotype of both are stripped. So no woman is scared to admit the truth of beatings and verbal abuse by a man, and no man is afraid to do the same about a woman. I may not be religious, but I always keep in mind the saying of “All men and woman, are created equal to one another” so let’s make it that way…

I think a woman of her stature socially would not have anything to do with depp. She is no safer with depp than both of his ex wives. He was her client. I would like to know what Camilles personal opinion of depp is? I am sure she has no respect for the wife beating, drunk, drug addict woman hater depp.

When the manager of Hicksville testified regarding his experience with Depp and Heard he stated that he immediately recognized Johnnys demeanor change as he too had been a victim of domestic violence. His words were so raw, they were palpable. Men in abusive relationships needs to be addressed and recognized immediately or women like Amber will continue to exploit the 'believe all women' and the 'me too' movement.

Sick of hearing that this verdict set women back regarding abuse! Prior to the trial I was on Amber’s side. I had only seen the cabinet video and the mean texts. Watching the trial I changed my opinion on Amber’s credibility and saw the many lies and inconsistencies. Just because you’re a woman doesn’t mean we should believe you, we need to investigate and find the truth. This verdict was a victory for victims because Johnny was a victim of Amber’s violence and manipulation!

I'm 100% with you on that. I only heard bits and pieces of what was going on, then saw that video Amber put out of Johnny and i really thought "hmm...maybe there's truth to what she's saying about him." But the more and more testimony and evidence/witnesses that came out, it became clearer that Amber was not being truthful about a lot of things. None of us really know what happened. Did Johnny get verbally abusive with her? It's very possible. Did Amber do the same to him? Seems that way. But, again, watching the trial it really seemed more likely than not that Amber was not being truthful. And especially the way she behaved in court on and off the stand. She would put on a performance on the stand (no actual tears mind you) and then her entire behavior changed when she was seated because it wasn't her "scene" anymore. That was a BIG one for me because I've known people that were abused. I was even abused and get behavior was not that of an abused person.

The fact that she even claiming Jonny's lawyer that he assaulted her. Its like she uses abuse to play a victim role. Its disturbing. The set back wasn't Jonny winning the case. The set back is the lies that Amber told. I feel furious with her. How can you lie about something so serious for your own benefits!!!!! It feels like she used my traumas for her own revenge to jonny. I feel like she has now brought more doubt into the females in the me too movement. This is fuel for those that never believe women who have been abused and assaulted. How is it Jonny's fault for defending himself.... This is Amber's fault for lying. Making many woman out there including me look like a lier. The way the talked about PTSD. It made me feel like now misogynistic people are just gonna see me, see my abuse see my ptsd and think Im lying or exaggerating or doubt that I even went through what I did. "Johnny Depp took ownership of a lot of things, she had an answer for everything, she wasn't taking accountability for anything." This is exactly how you can spot a narcissist. They always have something or someone to blame. The only way they 'blame' themselves is saying things like "I shouldn't have been so naive, I shouldn't have been such a perfectionist" which is just boosting their own ego, always in their own favor. When you notice someone like this, run for the hills, ignore their calls, don't let them ruin friendship with others. Even, maybe especially, when it's family! They do anything to put others down and lift themselves up no matter what the cost. A last tip to spot one, they always confuse things to boast about and to be victim off. But of course there is infinite hypocrisy in lies.
@sfnerd2023
@sfnerd2023 2 жыл бұрын
This was such a revelatory point, thank you! I had a narcissistic ex and I recognized his behavior in Amber. Something about their behavior is off. It’s precisely the fact that they always have an answer for everything, and the “faults” they very occasionally admit to are never really faults. They will convey to you that their flaws are secretly a positive talent or skill; they’re smug about it. A non-narcissist will be able to admit fault and will be fiercely honest about the damage it may cause to others. They are not afraid to be vulnerable and authentic because they have a solid conception of self that does not crumble when they make a mistake. Narcissists, on the other hand, are never able to be vulnerable. That would expose their hand. It reveals how truly fragile they are. They use these maladaptive behaviours to form a shield/mask around this fragile self, and they operate in life with this mask. It was clear to me that Amber was trying to use this mask to act like a victim, unfortunately, rather than simply owning the fact that she was one. She seemed to believe and portray that victims were ultimately perfect, always defenceless, never wrong. That was her downfall.

I am guilty of believing What the media was reporting years ago. I actually had no idea who Amber Heard was. When I saw a quick video of his friend Isaac crying , I decided to watch the entire trial. It was at the moment that Amber took the stand and refuse to admit that she did not “donate” the money and argue that it was a pledge , I knew from that point on she was lying . Dr. Curry’s testimony of Ambers state of mind was the seal of the deal for me.

I am a years long survivor of abuse and I can say with 100% certainty that Johnny behaved like an abuse victim, and Amber had the disposition and attitude of an abuser. I lived with one for 7 long years and one of the things that is common is the blame game. It's always someone else's fault. He beat me because I didn't say the right thing, do the right thing, act the way he wanted, etc. Amber admitted on tape to hitting Johnny, called him a baby for his response to the abuse, and she clearly lied about so much that none of the testimony was believable. This didn't set victims back...this allowed for trials where the TRUTH will come out!!

I was a victim of domestic violence in the 70's. I went to the hospital with my injuries and a policeman arrived to take my statement and pictures. I had no trouble being believed. I was very supported by the policemen I came into contact with. The difference was I WAS injured, I DID seek treatment and I DID file a report. It went to court. Sometimes its about the follow through and doing the things you need to do to be believed. If you don't take the necessary steps you have no case. Leaving people wondering if it happened at all.

I left her after so many years of abuse, and was always scared to tell my story as no one would believe me. This victory for Johnny resonates with so many men who are just like me. Who know that the legal system favors women, and because woman know this they often use it to their advantage. This win shows that abusive is genderless.

They didn't watch it, absolutely correct. They all believed her simply because she's a woman and after the verdict, despite the overwhelming evidence that Heard lied, manipulated others to lie, created false narratives, attempted to literally say that what the jury heard on tape and from eye witness testimony never happened, all these people i the media claim she's still the victim and she's been treated dreadfully and unfairly. It's what's known as cognitive dissonance and there are good people doing great work in support of abuse victims, making themselves sound like idiots unfortunately because they just don't want to accept that a woman may not be the real victim.

Decency?? If your daughter's bf said "I'll smack the ugly c*** around before I let her in " , would her father be justified in punching that bf, and setting him straight, no matter how mean his words are?? Wouldnt the father be considered a protector. It's ok for Male relatives, but what if the woman has to be her own protector?? She gets labeled an abuser and severely punished for doing what her male relatives would be justified and praised for. This is why people see lawyers as shady. They really twisted this narrative

one marked difference between Team Depp and Team Turd. (asking Elaine if Turd can pay her damages): "no. absolutely not." (asking Team Depp about whether he's interested in settling the appeal): "we can't speak attorney/client communications. What we can say is Johnny testified in court that... " Elaine essentially broke attorney/client privilege in her interviews and WITHOUT HESITATION (most likely not realizing so- since she's not a very good lawyer).
