I have mad respect for Johnny Depp. He survived all the abuse and maybe that's why he's been so successful. He's able to escape the painful memories by pretending or portraying different characters. Just my opinion but, I'm certainly not qualified to to speak for him. I will say that I admire him and wish him nothing but happiness, peace, and love.❤️

I could relate to this because my mother was an erratic & violent & so was my father & sister. A very dysfunctional family.

My mom only abused me mentally to make me feel ugly and that was enough to make me feel unworthy of love as I have been told by two people which I didn’t even know! So glad you turned out to be the sweet, kind, generous man you did as I feel God saved me that way as well. Kindred souls as we both grew up to love and take care of our moms in-spite of how we grew up! You are a good man Johnny as I have told you numerous times honey. Even as a married woman I stayed with her 5 times a week to take care of her. My sister had her over the other two nights as we tried to keep her out of a nursing home.

He is so kind and humble and was so unaware of how good looking he was when he was younger. Never did his success go to his head a truly remarkable man.

When he speaks in an interview, you can just see that kindness in him.

The violence he took from his mum, transferred to his relationship with Amber. Among other things (as a DV victim, maybe Stockholm Syndrome) this maybe why he stayed so long.

A violent upbringing didn't rub off on Johnny he is the opposite a gentle man, intelligent, thoughtful, & very forgiving,he has had a rough life he deserves all the blessings in the world.❤😊

Of course, I didn’t live his life, but I can really relate to certain issues he went through, and it actually does leave a scar on your life and has you being very insecure skeptical, and lacking trust( and looking for love, making love out of nothing at all confusing Lust would love trying to find love because that’s all anybody wants to be his love. For who they are, especially Johnny(because women in his life love him for what he does for a living not for who he is, Use him to get ahead because he’s at the top and without him they know they’ll never be there) I believe he has a lot to bring to a relationship with the right woman, but he isn’t a Barbie dolls models. No real woman a woman that will love him be happy behind the scenes and take care of him being a support system he needs until he finds this woman that can be beautiful on the outside and beautiful on the inside and deal with his issues. It saddens me to say he will never really get out of life when I think he really wants to be loved, for who is what he came, bringing her relationship, not materialistically( but the Johnny Depp persona that I see he’s very materialistic with his very expensive toys maybe what he’s doing is replacing what he really needs what he can get. One thing for certain art of all the actors, and I mean all of them he interacts with his fans I think he’s the most humble and most real when he’s with them.

He unfortunately had to talk about it in court & probably wouldn't appreciate a thumbnail of him hugging his mom but calling her an abuser too. (My comment may sound lame but please be just know it may make a difference not showing even the title or thumbnail) She's passed away & he still loves her. (I'm against child abuse or discipline by spanking ect.) But it was very common in his time (though still wrong) I just wish everyone would give him a break, especially over his mother. God bless you Johnny..and I loved this guy before but even more respect for him and awww wow his old lady makes mine seem like maria from sound of music and I had a mild peggy bundy mixed with a hippie but crap i never had to deal with anything like that my mom was just a undiagnosed bipolar with a crappy life before she had me she always told me the two best things she got out of her relationship with my dad was her walking papers and me what's wild is we were poor and lived about like he did but I had and still have an amazing step dad they both took any crap job they could to meet my needs and medical bills i used to be a sick kid in a hospital alot..my mom liked johnny first and we bonded over 21 jumpstreet reruns and some of his early stuff.. that's amazing he forgave her and saw it was her brain and the screwed up existance she had and still found it in his heart to look after her my mom's dying and has 30% of her ❤working and I still look out for her she might be bat crap crazy but she's my bat crap crazy and doing better since getting help..but heck ditched at 17 that's rough and if that happened where I lived as nutty and hippy as my mom can be at times she's actually 5 years older than Mr.depp she'd have said screw that no body deserves that she'd probably have offered the couch and stale doughnuts from the shop she worked at and did her best to be a friend.. knowing my mom..but the more I hear about this character and how humble and sweet I'm like Dang who the heck would want to harm a sweetheart like him crap I'm 40 and the same guys I'd get hooked up with in my home town are the same idiots I slapped in highschool i could only dream of a guy like him and hope he doesn't mind a gal with a wheelchair and health problems and honestly as far as his ex migraine goes he's lucky he only caught major regret from Blondie and not the clap or any other std.. well I'm just glad hes ok and living his best life..and please excuse my lack of punctuation my eye sight isn't the best but even i can see he's more than a handsome face hes a beautiful ❤️ and God bless you johnny your still my favorite pirate😊

That's no excuse to put your pain on to children it's despicable she was a witch of a woman didn't deserve kids..she should have got counseling just because she had a bad childhood didn't give her the right to abuse Johnny..it always comes around.. I think she died from cancer in the end..in my opinion justice was done. God bless you Johnny for having endured that awful mother. She's better off forgotten at least you didn't pass it on to your kids. You are a better parent than she could ever be. You did the right thing. Passing your pain on to kids is a cowardly way to deal with it. Get the help you need don't become your abusive parent. Don't repeat the cycle. It will never be forgotten by us.
