She’s clearly ignoring evidence that shows AH was not abused, but Johnny was. She must have been bribed. Her credibility as a professional is already questioned by many.

I am a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in the use of clinical tests. Neither test indicates the name of the aggressor, so their statement about who attacked whom is deeply biased and unprofessional. This is unethical. She is accusing another whose identification is only based on the verbal report of one party.

She has served as an expert witness for 500 individuals in domestic abuse cases, but she has not represented ONE SINGLE heterosexual male in a case where he was abused by a woman. When she SPEAKS of abuse, throughout her testimony, if you watch the whole thing, like I did, you'll see that she consistently describes victims as female, and abusers as male. This woman has incredible lack of objectivity and bias for a practicing psychologist. She clearly holds the subconscious bias that ONLY MEN commit abuse, and women are not capable of abuse against men. She took every single lie Amber told her and is now presenting it to the courtroom as factual evidence. In doing an "objective" evaluation, what she actually did was come to her own conclusion at the very beginning of her "evaluation", and then discarded any evidence she came across along the way that might disprove that conclusion. In addition, she never evaluated Depp. Never even spoke to him. Not once. This is all incredibly problematic. This woman is dangerous as an expert witness. She needs to be removed from any future cases where men's futures hang in the balance.

Absolutely disgraceful how a “professional” can be so clearly be biased towards men always being the abusers. She clearly stated she didn’t include the evidence that didn’t align with her line of thinking. When JD’s lawyer asks if a “victims” family member is the most objective person to ask, the “Dr” immediately uses the word “daughter”, after talking about gender stereotypes in her evaluations. It is utterly insane how she came to the conclusion of what occurred by just understanding AH’s side of the story, evaluating JD’s character without meeting him. She should not be allowed to be an expert witness in depositions or testimony ever again, and I sympathise with the people on the opposite side of the cases she has worked, especially those who are heterosexual men.

I'm a therapist, freshly graduated. I just feel gross listening to this. This is unethical, manipulative, dishonest. I've been studying to consider all variables - the entire person. What we're seeing here is a therapist working the system. She does not have the clients' best interest at heart and that is the most unethical you can be. It's good to see an example of what not to do, as uncomfortable as it was to experience this therapist. I'm going to continue studying Dr. Shannon Curry who is a role model for all mental health professionals. I feel for therapists that have to testify, especially a case like this that has the world's eye on it. Wow. I just hope I can be a good therapist and if I can be half as brilliant as Dr. Shannon Curry, I will be happy.
