Beyond stunning....even the number of Plano cases is off the hook. I would think that a TV show like Pawn Stars would be out to film an episode....or perhaps a Discovery or History Channel program showcasing collections such as yours. Whenever I see Dukes of Hazzard and John Schneider I think back to my engagement party years ago where John was in attendance.....it was a memorable night!

Im afraid i missed this johnny lightning since im a new collector I do have a police series and the white impala ...as a kid my friends dad had the chevy same color so i guess i did hit the jack pot with that car as allways you are the man for diecast knowledge:)

Absolutely killer JL collection!! I'm a big fan of Johnny Lightning; one of my all time favorite diecast companies. Your Dukes of Hazzard collection is unreal. That White Lightning Zingers General Lee is a definite grail piece.

Slowly collecting JL after TW & Mini GT. Love the American classic cars from JL. Chevy Impala, Chevy Bel Air, The 60s of American muscle cars like Dodge Charger. Thanks for introducing me to JL sir.

If I see any of these awesome Johnny Lightning diecast vehicles in my future visits to my local hobby shop The Pirates Cove. I will definitely consider purchasing some of them !

I thought Lamar was in the house when you started up, had to sit down and recover lol. Great display and show. I'm slowly getting a few Johnnies as I go mainly the film series cars. We in the UK had a short run period in the early 2000s late 90s. And even earlier in the late 60s. So not too much on the street to pick from. I'm a big fan of the new releases though it's great to have this brand back as a player again.

Years back, in the UK, Corgi marketed the range of James Bond 1/64 cars made by JL, the same castings, they sold well, as they retailed for about £3.50

Until that saddest of sad days when JL went tits up. moment of silence....I was really damned happy when I found out mister money bux saved the company, and waited, and waited, and waited for Walmart to start stocking them again, but they never did! I have to think Hot Wheels threatened to pull out of Walmart like a teenage kid getting some, should they start selling JL again. Whatever the reason I'm pissed! Remember, Vintage is 25 years to 49 years old, Classic is 50 years to 99 years old, and Antique is 100 years old and older. Non of those Johnny Lightnings appear to be "vintage".
