I love these no exp runs. It forces you to use tons of different pokémon that you might not normally use.

This dude is literally one of very few people that I can watch while doing schoolwork. I don’t even have to look at the screen to know his pain when he loses a battle. Him and EnterTheUnknown are great for watching when you are busy and still want to watch a Pokémon video.

Ironically I found this as I was grinding my team up to around level 63 in Platinum for the League.

the most minor annoyance I have when it comes to speed/challenge runs is that the community uses "range" rather than "roll". Like, "it's a range whether or not (Pokemon) gets OHKO'd by (move)" vs. "it's a roll whether or not (Pokemon) gets OHKO'd by (move)" -- "roll" and randomness go hand in hand

Four hours on a single battle is a terrifying thought.

This is kinda like a Pokémon Ranger playthrough of the main series game. 'Catch' wild Pokémon and use them temporarily, before releasing them and finding new ones rather than training.

Guys I just realize he made 2 video within one week so that means 1. Of four thing 1. He is on some type of drugs 2. This isn’t the Johnstone we all know and love we been replace 3. We travel through a patrol into another dimension where he actually make weekly content Or 4. This could be a new pokemon challenge how many pokemon video can I make within 1 month

I actually did this run back in May of last year and I'm quite surprised at how different some of our solutions were to each gym. The one that surprised me the most was Wake. For Wake, I used Tangela from Pastoria Marsh to help with Floatzel, since Ice Fang didn't OHKO through it's high Def, and it had Stun Spore, so I didn't have to rely on Static. The Gyarados was a much bigger issue for me since I didn't do the Quick Claw/Thunder strat with Raichu. Instead I used Stun Spore Tangela to weaken it and then bullied the Gyarados with Water Absorb Quagsire from the Great Marsh and Intimidate Staravia, which wasn't always successful depending on what turns it was paralyzed for. I also spent a lot of time grinding money off the 2 Rich trainers next to the Mansion right before the E4 in order to give Azelf 10 Calcium/Carbos, just to have an easier time with that whole thing because I was quite afraid of the E4.
