John, How long did that take? A year and a half? It is a wonderful build.

Have you ever entertained the idea of building one of these models with ballasts in the bottom so you can take some shots of it on the water?

It crossed my mind but it is very difficult to move these models without damaging them. You need a special case and a van. Think that this model is 1 meter 20 centimeters long, 95 centimeters tall and 52 or 54 (don't remember exactly) wide. The case must be bigger, how to you fit a model like that in a normal car? You need a van, so i can't do it even if i wanted to.

@@JohnsWoodenShips wow. It actually doesn't look that big in the videos! That's kind of mind blowing. My next suggestion would have been to buy a large fish tank and have a wood model float in it with fish swimming around it, but then you'd probably spend more time renovating your home lol
