Buckner/Royal coach 10101 1.25" popup impact rotor

Күн бұрынhere's my Buckner 10101 1.25" popup impact rotor. not sure of nozzle size but it's running on 2 pumps. runs good but I had to let it run for awhile before it would move. must've been sitting for awhile and had to be rotated a bit before loosening up. enjoy. this is NOS with the rubber cover.

This takes me back. We put a ton of these on fields and golf courses. One small correction. This one does not have a check valve. Your 10601 does. Great video!

Thanks Bill! I must've got the 2 confused! When I first powered this up it wouldn't rotate. After I moved it manually back and forth it started moving on its own. I think the bearing was stuck and moving it got it going again. Might have sat for awhile before being used .

When. I first turned it on it didn't rotate but I gently moved it back and fourth and it started moving on its own. After some time it moved quicker. Probably sat for a while before being used

It is a very nice powerhouse golf course style model. It is amazing, but a little slow and would probably take it apart and do a little clean up on the head. It throws a lot of water. Thank you for sharing.

It's possible that it just needs use it's NOS and has been sitting for awhile. When I powered it on it didn't move at all. Moving it by hand made it start moving on its own. Probably bearings just sticky.

@@NelsonBigGunP200Fan I am kind of funny as I check them out in so much detail before I put them on the stand, but it is part of my OCD. I like seeing the videos on all of them.

@@randyvanheusden732 Its good to check them all out, I need to do so on my 104C, disassemble it and replace the arm bearings, being that parts are still available, and install new seals in the bottom end. It's a learning experience for me . I just need to get my hands dirty. I mean if i mess it up, I can always get my hands on another gun, the dealer has a few 104C's. I like watching the videos of you taking them apart and fixing them, and experimenting. Never hurts to learn!

Sweet seeing it run Chris, I would love to put a pitot tube and gauge on it I bet it might be more pressure than recommended at the nozzle. The reverse seems to be too rapid the arm would not last long at that rate.

Yeah If i run my PC100 gun with 2 pumps with .70" Nozzle i get 53PSI according to the guage. I should put one on this to see what its at. Also i did notice the reverse the trip mechanism bounces, you're probably right that the arm is bouncing too much!

That looks great. This concept of increasing the pressure with two pumps impresses me. Unfortunately, I only struggle with well pumps that never want to deliver more than 3 m³. Is that 792 gallons?

Yes I only had 1 pump for a few years then I got a second pump to run in series with the other one. It definitely helps run the guns and sprinklers that 1 pump can't run. I used 2 to run my biggest big gun the P200 and it ran decently. I calculated the GPM out of the number you gave me and that's 12 GPM. My pumps are both 50 psi and 195 GPM. Running them in series gets me about 53PSI on my smaller big guns. Still a decent jump from what I did have.
