Join Dawn, Midnight and Twilight as they move to their forever home

We're live from our Vietnam sanctuary quarantine area as our bear care team moves recently rescued moon bears Dawn, Midnight and Twilight from quarantine to their forever homes.
Dawn, Midnight and Twilight were rescued from a bile farm along with Chronos and Noon, where they'd spent around 20 years trapped alone in tiny cages. They suffered repeated bile extraction and their bile was sold as medicine.
Dawn was particularly traumatised by her experience on the farm and the sheer length of time she endured such a sad, lonely and dark existence.
Our bear care and vet teams have worked every day with her to help her begin to heal from her past, and she is now ready to take the next step in her journey to recovery.

So much tedious Thought goes into caring for these bears, the wood wedges to keep the cage from rattling when in transport is just another testament to how caring and loving all the carers for these bears are, always considering their fears and comfort wanting them to now feel safe at all costs. As much as possible. You people are AMAZING, gentle and kind❤🥰

Thank you for sharing their journey's to their new home. There are so many things you have to consider that I would not have thought of. Right down to the wooden shims that cut down on the metal noises. I love the bit at 22:44 you have to wonder what the bear outside is saying to Midnight. Clearly it is bringing her comfort.

There are no words to describe what you do, you open hearts and eyes of our world; nature is so fragile and we all need a rude awakening to what we are creating on our planet. The eco system is breaking down and the harsh reality is because we are greedy there is never enough money to be made no matter the cost. We are slowly killing our planet and we seem to be ok with it. It breaks my heart. Then you come along and give us that little ray of hope. God bless your beautiful hearts for the work you do.
