We're assembling a major drop of forces to shoot a scene for an upcoming Elite Dangerous short film.

Hopefully we can get all anchors in the same instance at target site. For better synchronicity I suggest not to use local or system chat, but to agree on system times (just the clock up right in cockpit) when all execute 5) and 6). This eliminates server and network delays.

Debriefing: 1.) 2 minutes were not enough to charge the fsd of my Cobra with so much "disruptive mass" around. It took not much longer, though, I guess 3 minutes would be enough for all. 2.) Maybe we should have stuck to the plan to all have an anchor directly at site, but considering that the engine of the game hardly could handle this, I would not expect better result. 3.) Note to self: do not just simply kamikaze next time ;- ). Nevertheless, it was fun, thank you Cmdr Mechan!

addendum: 4.) choose a site with at best 0 NPCs around.

I think the addendum is the most important part to consider next time, e.g. we could just drop in some miles away from the settlement.

so that will be 7pm bst im gonna try , i dont have mike so ill be reliant on system chat and following ,im gonna have a practice run over there as im only mucking about ... i dont usually do multi but this seems a worthy cause (i do have a fleet carrier ) i know i have plenty of midnight black paint jobs ill have to see whatelse

Midnight black will look great. It’s a nicer (but a lot more expensive!) tactical graphite

Always happy to help with projects like this. VipermK3 has the grey coat of paint in the store... it's not fancy... still watching your instructions. Shared in our Discord and on Twitter(X). Are we firing the pack-hounds, or would torps be better to fire once glide ends?

Missiles will probably result in the best fireworks. Hounds and Torps both need a lock, and torps have very little ammo. Missiles best for show value!

It's really cool that you're doing an event for lore/RP reasons, but I don't have any beef with Aegis. At least they've never been led by some dangerous old lunatic with a saviour complex, unlike Azimuth.

I would really like to participate, but I'm worried that my poor English will hurt the cause. But if I decide to take part, what rockets do I need? I understand that fixed, but ordinary or AX?

Any kind of rockets really. So long as you can follow basic instructions in English like “wing up”, “charge FSD” and “boost”, you’re gonna be ok!

XSF Uniform is tactical graphite, no ship kits, “classic” nameplate white and “classic” ship ID white. But no hard rule to come in XSF uniform. Just what many ships will look like.

I shall try to be there. I do have tactical graphite on my cutter. Are any missiles fine? I'm only asking as I have a bunch AX missile rack already. Or is it advised to show up with different ones?
