0:09 I actually had an idea for this concept of getting strong really quickly. I was thinking that players could unlock a secret 2nd or 3rd act by collecting all the keys on the 1st or 2nd acts respectively. The secret acts would be more challenging, but would offer better rewards, such as more frequently upgraded cards, and cards of higher rarity.

@@0rnami yeah! in the most recent dlc, they added a sort of alternate path you can choose, with different areas that are much more difficult but you get much better rewards.

If you think about it, it makes sense - it says “deal 4 damage; apply 2 weak.” So the damage comes first and applies the envenom stack (removing the artifact charge), then the weak applies

Clunky as in they don't do much but require your deck to be doing something very specific to get that mediocre effect. Compare the clunky envenom to noxious fumes. Envenom doesn't poison shielded enemies, requires you to spend resources to get its poison down, and even when poison is happening, it's a really low amount (see the act 2 boss fight).

@@shaunhayes3072 Envenom is expensive and usually worse than Fumes at applying poison. It needs a specific setup to pop off. Sadistic usually doesn't do much at all since you don't apply debuffs that often and the damage isn't that awesome. That's quite clunky if you ask me

I'm newer here, but I feel like I've seen jorbs say "maybe we could take Snecko Eye" in about 20 videos and never actually seen him, once, take Snecko Eye 😅

@@Valanathos Jorbs takes Snecko way less often nowadays, as he mentioned himself not too long ago. He has rarely picked that relic for almost over a year now, at least in the runs I've seen.

Snecko Eye is a very powerful relic, but other means of card draw and energy have gotten much easier to come by than they used to be.

Jorbs' bemoaning of his deck's inability to do damage combined with him refusing to use Nightmare on a damage card for most of the boss gauntlet when he was already blocking for like 70 per turn and hadn't taken more than 3 damage in about 20 floors made the end of this one a bit of a rough watch.

Watch someone with over 5000 hours in the game look up the amount that the first enemy blocks for. Learn from that and don't be ashamed to not know things. Just look things up and don't just assume things!

You can click on any of the buttons as many times as you want (aside from leaving) but you always have to click the leave button. It's not like he chose that one over the others; you always have to click that one at the end and he decided not to trade health for any of those resources.
