Best part: if you follow all of Jojo from the beginning without skipping anything, none of this seems out of place while reading.

Random JoJo fun fact: The reason a dog dies horribly in every chapter of the franchise is because Araki loves dogs and feels that the quickest way to make a character hateable is to have them kill a dog.

Oh come, Araki's artwork is leagues better than Liefeld's, even if he draws all his men like they are on steroids.

You know, I just find it satisfying that Linkara has now discovered at least part of why JoJo is so good. But yes, this was a fun review. Oh, boy. Well, we got Linkara back...I think, but now we have a free roaming Entity, and one that looks just like him. It also has full knowledge of how the ship works and where everything is, including the location of Linkara's other tools. How bizarre is it that a Patreon requested review ties into the story arc? That's pretty awesome!

What's really great about Speedwagon is that not only does he become Jonathan's stalwart ally, but a lifelong friend to the Joestar family and something of a mentor to Jonathan's grandson.

Probably already brought up, but Episode 3 had an after-credits scene that shows how Dio survived and turned Wang Chun into a minion. Not your fault obviously, but if you see more Jojo, the episode isn't over until you see the "To Be Continued" arrow.

If I recall correctly, the madman behind Jojo, Hirohiko Araki, was one of the few Manga authors to have worked with both the Louvre and Gucci.

The “it is I, DIO” memes that Linkara’s does in this are way funnier than the original meme ever was. Also, this first storyline is my favorite so far.

I knew that after doing Fist of the North Star, it would eventually lead up to JJBA!

No man, the Bizarre hasn't kicked in yet. This is just the prelude before they dial it up to eleven and leave it there for most of the series.

Hamon and the Vampirism are truly nebulous "good" and "evil" powers. As the series goes on, even within the first part, they just start doing more and more absurd things and basically just saying "I did that with Hamon" or "I can do this because I'm a vampire". Hamon's greatest hits being turning bubbles into weapons, turning swords into light sabers, and allowing you to remotely control random objects. Vampirism is even more absurd as Dio himself gets powers like laser eyes and freezing people from a touch. That's not even getting into the absolute insanity that is the Pillar Men. Jojo's Bizarre Adventures is pretty much known for that though, absolutely bizarre and epic battles. The powers problem gets solved somewhat when they drop the vague "Hamon vs Vampires" powers to the very specific Stand powers in Stardust Crusaders and beyond.

I think one reason Linkara liked what he's seen so far of JoJo is that it brings in some of the good elements of silver age western comics, with Jonathan as the sort of protagonist he enjoys.

So, I'd fallen out of watching your show around this point last year. I've decided to try catching up, and I'm glad I did. I'm quickly reminded why I considered this my favorite webshow. I'm happy to be back.
