It's kind of insane how this song is from the perspective of Bruno, Giorno and Diavolo at the same time. Some of the lines are direct rebuttals to each other in fact. It all begins with a golden wind = Giorno pushing Bruno back on the path to fulfill his ideals and defy the boss. When my(Bruno's) life is gone with the wind, will our prayers vanish into dust? HELL NO! Starting over with Golden Wind! (Bruno sacrificing himself for the gang and Giorno finishing the job for him, starting over the mafia) Fiery soul burning every road to the past = Diavolo desperately trying to erase his past and mistakes. Oh yes it's eye for an eye for the betrayer and thief (Diavolo punishing the traitors). Oh yes, show some pride for the betrayer and thief (Bruno's rebuttal). Both the Japanese lyrics and this translation are absolutely incredible.
