JoJo was definitely groomed by Colleen, Trisha Patas made a video on this and she made a lot of good points. JoJo has been manipulated by adults her whole life. She should go to therapy if she isnt in already. JoJo is still a kid somewhat, so she is gonna grow up and start to find out that she was manipulated and taken advantage of. JoJo is a victim, but she doesn't realize it yet. It's sad and I hope she gets the help she needs.

@@loracook1433 There's a ton of actual evidence of what Colleen did, Adam McIntyre has videos up talking about his experiences and shows the receipts to prove it (including showing the lingerie she sent him when he was like 14 that Colleen claims was just 'ugly underwear' but it was a full lingerie set with lace.) among others, like Becky and Oliver. I think JoJo is refusing to see it because it would require admitting her own experiences and traumas, and I just hope that she eventually wakes up and figures it out before there's even more harm done. Colleen is using her to have access to the younger fanbase and she's wayyyyy too close to Rachel, to the point people actually thought they were dating for a while which is...creeptastic.

I think one of the main reasons Jojo has this certain stance on the topic is because she was personally been groomed by Colleen and therefore cannot come to terms with the extent of what Colleen has done. It happens with many victims, they want to defend the person grooming them because they are 1: afraid or 2:still trying to come into acceptance with what is happening. Either way, it’s really fucked up for her to be defending someone like Colleen, but I also wanted to put my opinion out there about another point

i wonder if a small part of it is wanting to rebel i never followed jojo but i suffer from cptsd from my childhood and when i became a "adult" i did a lot of things i regret. looking back i subconsciously rebelled just because i could. I think it goes into a lot of child stars especially disney child stars wanting to look grown. I've personally gone through my own trauma experiences, and yes I agree completely, it took me YEARS to come to terms with what actually happened. For the longest time, I stayed silent (knowing it was weird) but I had no idea how wrong it was and the help I could've received. at a young age, when you're still developing, learning, and processing things; running into a situation like that, it blurs a lot of lines. It takes a while to retrace and understand that you need to push that person away. Which is hard to do when it's someone you genuinely care about, and feel should be in your life (like a family member)

Who the hell is friends with a 12 year old, I’m in my late 20’s now and I can confidently say I have never been friends with a child, I have talked to family members kids at events but to actually become friends and text them is soooooo strange AND hang out with them. As a victim of SA I see JoJo as much of a victim as the others who actually faced Colleen's bad side and she was groomed and probably even touched but because her parents don't do anything about it. My heart breaks for poor JoJo 💔 Now this doesn't mean I agree with what she says by any means but we need to remember that even if she's legally an adult now she wasn't when she first met Colleen meaning she basically grew up with Colleen in her life so she simply can't see her for what she is because it's hard to come to terms with the fact that someone who you trusted and maybe even looked up to has violated you and others so much that people you don't even know are trying to help you. Imagine being the same exact age as some of the victims and not being able to put yourself in their shoes. Jojo is the same age as Adam. She couldn't stop, take a moment, and imagine how she would have felt if Colleen had used her to run her social media, promised to meet up with her then bailed in a city that she wasn't familiar with, was sent weird lingerie, was bullied endless, was sent inappropriate images of an influence, etc all while underage? Like... what the hell, man. I also found it really weird how Colleen made a video where she was gleefully watching Jojo react to Colleen’s birth footage and even titled the video as “REACTING TO RAW FOOTAGE OF MY BIRTH WITH JOJO SIWA!” Colleen could’ve chosen a friend (who was an actual adult at the time) to film that video with, but instead she chose Jojo despite the fact that she was only 15 years old. That’s sad but I can’t say I’m surprised. Young kids and teens who are groomed by older people unfortunately will have the sort of “Stockholm syndrome” of wanting to defend or not say bad things about the people that groomed them, despite what happened to them. A lot of that has to do with the fact that their brains aren’t fully developed, they don’t understand what happened to them, and/or they don’t understand what’s appropriate vs. inappropriate between a young person and an adult. It’s a multi layered thing. Definitely a trauma reaction. So I’m sad that she is defending someone like that, but I can understand where it’s coming from.

I actually defended my groomer when people tried to call him out because I just didn’t understand how inappropriate the situation was. It really is an uncomfortable situation when you find out someone who you were friends with and who had your respect, did something inappropriate. ESPECIALLY when that friend won’t take accountability for what they did. It makes you feel like a bad friend for “not believing” your friend. Jojo needs to realize that the BEST thing you can do for that person is hold them accountable and not take their side. Do not allow them to think that they have your support until they genuinely take accountability and change their behavior. You want your friends to be the best versions of themselves and encourage you to be the best version of yourself in return

Jojo has also been held accountable by her fans for her breakup with her ex since she was toxic with her ex Katie Mills. That she was super strict in a way. And for faking a pregnancy thing, always showing her stomach idk why but yeah her career has been going down hill a lot since her breakup and her ex speaking out.

Half the shit Colleen did wasn’t even in character as Miranda. Jojo either doesn’t know everything or she doesn’t want to know because she’s her friend. Both is wrong either way. The “internet” didn’t come up with a lie, the internet actually defended Colleen at first when Adam came out with the shit and he had to damn near hide because her blind fans were still rallying behind her. Something she had them do on purpose. So she can’t call the internet a lie, she’s calling Adam a liar which is so disrespectful at this point given all the proof he’s shared. I thought jojo was better than this but she probably still has the mind of a 16 year old that thinks they’re mature but really are just naive.

I just feel bad for jojo, but to be fair she's 2 years younger than me... and it took me until now to cut ties with a toxic family member who I knew since I was a kid obviously. So hopefully she reaches that conclusion soon. Knowing someone at a young age, who feel like family, I'm sure Colleen is family to her, it's hard cutting ties

I think jojo is accustomed to adults interactiong with children since she and others experienced a lot of that on dance moms. She witnessed maddie and Sia get close. And she doesnt generally see a problem, hence mentioning she was 12. She is in denial about the accusations and shes still in naive mindsrt in general. Hopefully once she gets older she'll realize it

I would also say that her becoming defensive in this way reflects that she is probably still in denial about the situation and has not come to terms with it as an adult yet. She has to accept what happened in order to move forward. Otherwise she will be going in circles like this over and over again defending the person that groomed her and also putting herself in toxic situations as an adult because of what happened to her. It’s a very common reaction to this type of trauma. I really do hope she gets the help she needs. 💕

No. She's an adult herself. Yes she has trauma, but like anybody else (especially everybody who has already been cancelled for being predators) she needs to take accountability for her actions. She's just as problematic as Shane, Colleen, James. People who still defend her are babying her and allowing her to believe this behavior is okay when it's not. Trisha, HER problematic self has distanced from these people.. just because JoJo has gone through trauma doesn't mean she gets a free pass.

I’m not babying anyone. Trauma is real and a lot of people have a hard time dealing with it well into adulthood. It’s not babying nor defending to make an observation about a person. I’m sorry you feel the way you do, but I disagree with your rather insensitive view about trauma and mental illness.

She obviously has things to work through and process before she can even get to that point to owning up to her own mistakes. That’s what life is about, you have to grow and learn. For anyone wondering Colleen had a nine year old boy come on stage while she was doing her show and said she was going to pretend she was on a date with him and she asked him to “simply react to her” she then proceeded to ask him to reach his hands down her songs and grab a “snack” the kid was super uncomfortable and was laughed at by the audience while he was forced to do something inappropriately. Not including inappropriately talking to a minor.
