He really does bring attention to Sami culture. I have learned much more because of him than I ever learned in school. I am from Sweden, but not from Sapmi. I don't think I ever saw a reindeer in real life and I never went further north than Åre, but we vote in the same elections and share the same land and resources and we are all relevant to each other. It is my business what happens further north and it is the business of the Sami what happens in the Västgöta plains. (What's worse than not learning much in school as a child is that I'm now a teacher and we didn't learn anything about the Sami at my education. Nothing!)

He's not saying anything, it's joik which is a traditional form of song of the Sami people people of the Nordic countries. Kind of like native american chanting.

@@kaksikymmentayksi no tak v samštině jako je Henrikuv rodny jazyk se to může zdát bez textu..ale někdo to přeložil do švedštiny a z té někdo do angličtiny .. doporučuji knižku Poslední Laponec ..tam se o sámech dozvite hodně ;) namaji to jednoduche a nikdy neměli..rasově hrozně pronásledovany ...:(

@@davidkeller1195: Trochu mi to připomíná takovéto zvolávání jako v písni Return to innocence od Enigmy. Proto jsem si myslel, že je to bez textu. Ale díky za informaci. O samštině jsem zatím neslyšel.

@@kaksikymmentayksi jo neni zač, taky jsem o tom neslyšel, ale shodou nahod jsem začal čist zminěnou knihu,je to zajimavy thriller z tohoto prostředi a je tam i trochu samske historie, a několikrat i zminěny hrdelni zpěv "Joik" ;) do Laponska prostě chci .někdy aspoň jednou v životě :)

Prawdziwy przyjaciel jest dużo więcej warty jak partner (ka) Dostrzega się to dopiero w pewnym wieku - zazwyczaj jak człowiek jest już starszy. Ktoś zapyta dlaczego ? Dlatego że przyjaciel jest bezinteresowny i nie wykorzysta danej informacji przeciwko Nam samym. Inaczej jest z partnerem ( nie istotne w jakim związku żyją formalnym czy nie ) tutaj w związku zawsze jest walka o wpływy o decyzje, rację , chęć uzyskania przewagi nad drugą osobą. Słuchając tego wykonania współczuje temu Panu że stracił przyjaciela, jednak zazdroszczę też tego że miał tego przyjaciela i słuchając tego wykonania można sądzić że się naprawdę szanowali i wspierali. Ten wywód jest moim wewnętrznym odczuciem tego co czuje słuchając tego wykonania , jak dal mnie wspaniałego.

:) Beautifull song! You can feel the pain and happiness. Someone who create his own song with Sami language. Only so sad that the end of the song finish with song:return to innocent. Enigma sample lyrics what was stolen by chinese people from Taiwan people and also the drums are from Led Zepplin and they use it without permission. Conclusion: Singer who create his own music and lyrics VS. a group who stole lyrics and drums :P Nice combination

Bures! Its a Joik from the Sami in the north of Sweden. The video sadly does not justify the culture and land of the Sami, we have a lot of tjåkka (mountains with snow). Sami and native Indians share so much! I fight for our Sami to not be pushed back like the native Indians but sadly they are pushed back! Ráfi!
