While sure Alex's ground game comes to question since aspinal is better at ground in paper which makes aspinal difficult match up for Jones stylistically but if Alex beats aspinal there wouldn't be much complaint since tom is no 1 guy in division and Alex would have beaten the no 1 guy making him deserving to fight for the belt.

In terms of Nick Diaz vs Jorge, if we take Nick Diaz Prime (Strikeforce era) vs Jorge's prime. Nick absolutely destroys him. Some of Nick's best strengths are Jorge's biggest weakness. Nick had elite cardio, Jorge had very questionable cardio, Nick loved to throw the 1-2 straight down the pipe and Jorge's biggest technical mistake/weakness was the 1-2 down the pipe. Also Nick masked that 1-2 perfectly in such a way where Jorge would not see them coming. Nick would've repeatedly gone to the body in ways Jorge would not be able to handle resulting in his cardio getting depleted even faster. I believe Nick would've finished Jorge in the fifth round, prime for prime.

Jiri needs a strength and conditioning coach. Hes got nowhere near enough muscle and explosiveness for the current competitors. He doesnt even need to put on that much muscle. Maybe 10lbs and he'd be a different beast

He's got a physicality advantage over everyone except Rakic and possibly Ankalaev (purely in the grappling). Jiri is not bulked up but he's got an elite frame which is worth more than Costa style gym muscle or Jamal Hill flab.

I agree with almost everything opinion you had here. When you get into fan questions, idk, i just don't get too hung up on hypotheticals and so many people do, they want to know what you think about something that didn't happen. I just don't think like that. I have a friend like that and it's one of my mma buddies that i always watch and talk about mma with, he asks me the stupidest hypothetical questions and i just tell him that its stupid and not worth the effort of thinking about..lol SO much about mma is super interesting as is...no need to ask what if..imo.
