Aww, this is right when I discovered Jon. I was 12. I watched SAST (short attention span theater). I've been a fan girl since then. ❤️😎👍

I miss the days when Comedy Central was all stand-up

How is this still so relevant 30 years later?!

It's interesting how Jon is a real life example of hard work and persistence. Seeing him go from stand-up, through two other shows, to doing bit parts in movies, before finally making the career-defining move to The Daily Show when he was pushing 40, and over a decade establishing himself as a landmark in political commentary is truly inspiring.

I don't know much about Jon's stand up, so it's interesting to see that his show was just as political as his routines.

Like Carson, Letterman knew talent and went out of his way subtly to support them.

Wow, an amazing sign of things to come! The immigrant joke I'm pretty sure comes straight from Robert Klein.

He did the same exact Kennedy routine on Letterman again in late 1994. Word for word.

Biggots were on the rise in 92, damn. Guess they've been at it since then and are now running a rampage.

Bigots were on the decline in 92. It's all relative. Heard of the 1960's and earlier? You're very young.

I love Jon, but he really has told that "it looks like a container for a head" joke way too many times on the air.

Jon Stewart used to be rather handsome. He aged so badly in a mere 25 years.
@isaiahayers1550 Жыл бұрын
He hasn't aged badly at all - he's just aged. A 60-year-old isn't going to look like a 30-year-old

You wonder if his grandpa gave him shit about that one bit? -even- Especially, if it's not true
