No he's not Samoan he's Tongan and probably put rugby on the map... but he will definitely put Marshall Lynch in his place he was the O.G beast.

In the end of his career, Jonah Lomu was already with his kidneys shutting down and he still was a beast.
@airballer641

Jonah was in fact Tongan not Samoan. He was 260 pound man standing at 6ft 5 and could run 100m in 10 seconds. But the thing is he wasnt 10p percent when he played because his kidneys were failing so imagine him if he was. You guys should do another reaction video to him.

He's not just another rugby legend. He is the number one rugby legend in rugby history. He is a very gifted rugby player. He played rugby with one kidney. He is like michael jordan in basketball,messi in football.ufc in khabib nurmagomedov.

He was basically hax. Not just in the game, but in life in general. So: - Had crazy speed due to his legs being the size of tree trucks - Absurdly strong - Pretty tactical and able to read the game - Very active in the community helping mainly the poor and disadvantaged - Humble and all around fantastic person Yeah, I accept I will ever be as good a human being as him (don't get me started on the sports aspect; one tackle by him would break multiple of my bones). We (especially us in NZ) lost a great person when he passed.

Jonah's Tongan just like Jason Taumalolo. He was 6ft-5 and ran 100m's in 10.7 seconds. Back in the mid 90's he was offered around $10 million by NFL but he declined.

Jonah was rugby's only superstar even though today there are a lot of better players he was able to be known across the world by not only rugby fans but by non rugby fans as well, and what makes that accomplishment even greater is that it was during the time that rugby was still an amateur sport, his size and speed was ridiculous and that anomaly is what grabed everyones attention...Now that you saw a big guy doing his thing watch how the small guys play...React to Faf de Klerk Taking Names, its a great video and really shows that rugby can be played by almost anyone regardless of their physical attributes

No players these day will match this guy if jonah was still playing he would do the same thing to these players.
@stefanmalan506
@stefanmalan506 4 жыл бұрын
@@Fat-To-Fit593 I disagree...Tackle tecnique and form determine whether or not you'll bring someone down...Joost v.d Westhuyzen proved this when he tackled Lomu head on stopping him and Faf de Klerk when he tackled Hugh McGrath and Nathan Hughes...Nemani Nadolo and I'll even say Julian Savea is proof of this as both of them would have been the "Jonah Lomu" of their time (and personally I think they are better than Lomu because of training and conditioning), and to be fair if they were playing during rugby's amateurism phase they would be superstars as well, however they aren't nearly as effective as Jonah because of how the defensive systems and tackling techniques have evolved and gotten more formidable when rugby turned pro
@stefanmalan506
@stefanmalan506 4 жыл бұрын
@@Fat-To-Fit593 A lot of Pacific nation players are big and sometimes absurdly fast but because of them still basically being stuck in the amateurism phase, due to economic reasons, they aren't the best teams in the world because they need to compete against better trained teams that most often than not contain smaller guys (compared to them)
