The 88 never ceases to amaze me as to how steeply it takes off. I love the moment when you guys come right out of the top of the clouds. Imagine what that would look like from Outside of the Airplane and away from it to watch an MD88 pop-up, All Of A Sudden out from the clouds.

These are the airplanes I miss flying on. They are workhorses. I enjoyed the video.

For such a highly loaded wing, the MDs had the best climb capability! They were always exciting at takeoff 😃

At least I got a chance to fly on AA MD-80 back in 2012.

Another great video! I'm flying on a European Air Charter MD-82 this month, but I'm unsure whether to sit slightly behind the engine or not.
