I think her microphones are set too low, while his are set higher . So his over powers hers, makes it hard to hear her when he sings ..

yes, charlotte voice is so beautiful an powerful, but very common, Jonathan voice is more powerful, beautiful and overall Unique, Jonathan voice is this kind of voices that we have once in a decade.

God touched them both, without her he would never had the confidence to appear on BGT... her voice is not even in the same stratosphere as his, but her belief in him was strong enough for them both. but the true miracle is their music teacher who heard Gods touch in their voices...😊 AMAZING

They do this song on their BGT audition, and his voice is 10 times as powerful, just like when he does a solo performance. I honestly much prefer the BGT one since he can really show off how amazing his voice is.

Simon was not wrong. Even I was able to here a pile of mistakes she made at the first audience. But it was maybe by the stress because later she was excelent.

I Think Simon was just being Simon. He admitted he was wrong later. I have listened to them both sing separately and there was something so magical about the combination of their voices together. I wish they would sing together again at some time. Their voices have matured over these past years and have gotten better. They are both amazingly talented.

I think (in this video) that charlottes voice is better, but also that jonathan is better at controlling the power of his voice, making more headroom for charlotte in their harmony. :)

Her trouble is, she's very good. But Jonathan has shown to be a once in a generation quality singer, who will some day be looked at as one of the great singers in history, mentioned right up there with Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, and José Carreras. I cannot imagine, having the capability of singing like one of them.

on AGT when they sang the prayer, for me they both were good and the voices complimented eachother and if it was only jonathan it wouldnt had the same effect for me.

I do have to say that I prefer Jonathan's voice than Bocelli. Much more dynamics and has a deeper sound into it.

They knew from the beginning they would at some point go their own way. Charlotte was the force that brought Jonathan to his own. She has a special gift of caring as well as singing. Jonathan is tremendous. I am now enjoying them as they continue their individual paths.

Yes indeed , I remember the first time I heard him sing on that talent show when he was 17 I could see he was a major world tenor in the making. Someone only comes along once in 20 years. With a talent such as this and it is a great gift for us all to be able to appreciate his voice for many years to come.

That's the short attention span of pop culture for ya. Either incapable of digesting this kind of music, uninterested, or both. It's a crying shame who gets rewarded and who gets so largely overlooked in this dynamic. :-(

It was a great performance. Charlotte was great and so was Jonathan. Ignore simons criticism. It was only meant to draw attention to Charlotte and Jonathan that’s all.

I also think that she did good here, alright. But I wouldn't say she's one of the very splendid opera acts, that I've listened to. Plus, it's pretty obvious that they went back to the drawing boards to rein in Jonathan's talent, advancing Charlotte in this business of singing as a duo. She was practically inconspicuous at their xfactor audition.

She just finished her first album with contemporary and opera combined. I have no idea how the album is doing or if she has a lot of booked engagements. I think however Jonathan will go far with live performances if he can sustain the grueling travel of concerts and he gets the correct promoters and a pretty but talented girl to sing a few duets with for example Charlotte Church or someone along that order around Johnathan's age, and also have some guest stars and sing with them like Sara Brightman, and maybe even Jackie Evanco, however she doesn't have the singing power he has but for entertainment purposes the two could work it out.

Just came from that video also and the thing I like the best was in their pre interview they both reference how Charlotte was protective of Jonathan which can be hard to do when other people are picking on someone it can be hard to do the right thing and stand by them. After the song, when Simon says Charlotte might hold Jonathan back she is upset but is trying not to show it. Jonathan then shows how honorable he is by flatly saying "we started this as a duo, we'll finish this as a duo" repaying all the moments she stood up for him.

Amen to that. God blessed us with their duo.
