He was a sweetheart when I met him (3 times). Didn’t rush me to try to hurry me along. Thought he was so good looking . Loved when he took his hair down. I had such a crush on him the last couple of seasons. Great memories for me.

This was probably last minute. I was at the Little House event in Kentucky last weekend and was told that they didn't even know he was coming to the event in Simi Valley...just showed up after all these years!

I think it's awesome that Jonathan is starting to heal from his past issues..I obviously don't know him but I feel like something is a little off with him..I don't mean that in a nasty or rude way just maybe it is nerves due to being out of the spotlight for over 30 plus years..I do wish him the very best and I hope that the healing continues between him and his past..

Thank you so very much for posting this. People remember Jonathan as Willie of course but I for one love seeing and hearing about what things he has done since the series wrapped. The clincher, and what for me wipes the 'Where's Jonathan been' slate clean for me is how he wrapped it up here. Welcome home Jonathan...we have ALL missed you tremendously🙂

Thanks so much for posting this highly anticipated interview for those of us who couldn't attend! So happy to see these two together again after so many decades apart! Jonathan was everything I hoped he'd be and even more handsome than I could have hoped for! Nice that he got to feel the love and amazing to see how gorgeous, gentle and kind he remains. He would be a stellar runway model: certainly has the height, build, and sense of humor to succeed in a big way, something in the vein of 1980's GQ mag fame. The highlight of the Simi convention other than Ketty Lester and Lucy Lee Flippin and everyone else, including Half Pint!!! Much love and respect to Allison and Jonathan! ♥️♥️♥️

Thank you for taping this. I know some are going to complain about the recording but it just seemed like they never set anything up to have each of these appearances taped professionally and put on DVD someday. I was in the front row. Without getting on stage and putting the camera in his face, there was no way I would have been able to get any closer. You shoulda come if you wanted a closer view. I did what I could. The video is suppose to be about the 'experience', not just the interview so it was shot in the manner of a person sitting in the audience. I was that member. I wanted to remember it how I saw it, and this is how. With no zoom!

I was in the front row. I am not sure how closer I could have gotten. Yeah sorry I don't zoom, because this camera only has digital zoom which looks awful. I also was working two cameras, and live streaming it on my instagram. I had my handsful. I didn't expect it to come out this well.

Sara is Melissa's adoptive mom's natural child. Melissa and Jonathan were adopted so there's no way except just by sheer coincidence.

@@mstdn Yeah thanks...it was a sort of odd time and one wonders if there was some Patty Duke Sean Astin type of thing going on with where he didn't know if Michael Tell or John Astin was his father. Maybe Barbara was seeing Harold Abels before her husband died and they just said he was adopted? I'm assuming not, but it's always been a sort of weird insular family. The 60's and 70's were big for hidden pregnancies and scandel aversions by actors and actresses. I know that Melissa Gilberts parents where publicly identified but not Jonathons.

Thing is.. Jonathan ISNT a hollywood person. After leaving little house, he did one TV movie and that was it. He hasn't been back since. And if you saw the crowd following him around, I think he knew his audience very well.

Jonathan needs a hair cut!!!! These men who think that long hair, (even in a bun)is attractive, I have to say, its not. I never liked him obviously in the early shows as Willie but near the end of the run of the show, I liked him. How the character graduated school is still a mystery, Willie spent more time in the corner than anyone

I think Willie Oleson went on to start his own restaurant. That is kinda what I gathered by the last two episodes. He wanted run Nellie's and asked Nels to do it. I think he had his head on straight by the last few episodes and probably went onto something bigger after he left Walnut Grove.

I was as close as I could get.. I was in the front row. I don't zoom b/c I recorded this for my memory.. I wanted to remember how it was with me sitting in the chair. I can't zoom my eyes, so I left it. I also was working several cameras at the same time. Was hard.. surprised I got it at all.
